And in some use case, the subscriber may need to add new custom fields to custom objects in the managed package. As the nature of managed package is to restrict the users from editing certain component properties and attributes in the installed org, but the subscribers can edit some component attributes (which are defined as “Subscriber and Developer Editable”) in the managed package in the subscriber’s / installed org. ![]() ![]() We often come across some use cases in our Salesforce development and administration process where we need to deal with any managed package.
